Below is what’s in the news for Summer 2017:
~Safety Items~
With the warmer weather many people are out walking. Please drive slow through the area and look for children and walkers.
We have several new families in the association that have children playing outside.
~Landscaping~
With all this heat and very little rain our shrubs and bushes may need a little extra care. Please water the bushes once in a while if you are able, especially if leaves are starting to brown or are dry.
~Trash Cans~
Please make sure to bring your trash cans inside in a timely manner. Association rules also require they be stored inside the garage on non-garbage days. Also, please make sure your garbage cans are properly secured on windy days.
~Dog Owners~
Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately! This is an Association rule and a City Ordinance which carries a fine. Dog tie-outs are not allowed at any time. Owners must be present any time a pet is outside the unit or on common ground.
~Next Meeting~
June 20th @ 7:00 pm | Topics Include: Tree Trimming, Concrete Work, Potential Speed Bumps, Dry Sprinkler System Removal, Assn Website, etc.
~Dryer Vents~
It is the recommendation of the fire prevention bureau that all dryer vents be cleaned no less then every five years. Dryer fires are one of the leading causes of residential fires in Illinois. A clogged dryer vent will also cause your clothes to dry at a slower pace and shorten the life of your dryer. Call Bluestone for a list of recommended companies.
~Parking Passes~
Make sure you are using your association parking passes when in guest parking areas. Alpine towing has been instructed to patrol the complex for illegally parked vehicles.
